Malappuram is a small green, hilly town that has a history of being a military heaquarter.
It's full of natural beauty with plenty of rivers flowing through teh hilly terrain and some wildlife too. Since it's not a commercial tourist destination, one can expect to enjoy some quiet time with nature here.
