Coonoor is one of the most fantastic places to go to. Better than Ooty also.
If you are travelling from Bangalore, take the 36 hair-pin bend road up to ooty and then from there to Coonoor.
Its an amazing weekend getaway from Mysore, Bangalore, and Coimbatore!

Loved the weather at Coonoor. It's so cool even in summer! We drove down to Wellington one day and I must recommend this really good local bakery there. Great home-made cakes.

Coonoor was a quiet and and quaint alternative to Ooty. I'm glad we changed our mind and tried it out! Loved our evening walks and the view of the hills and plantation the most.
