This homestay is situated on the foothills of the Dhauladhar mountain range and is adjacent to a stream. It is built on about an acre of land with plenty of greenery. The owners grow their own vegetables and have fruit trees like peach, plum, apricot, pomegranate, sweet lime, guava and figs.
The homestay uses a bio-gas plant and a vermi-composting pit. The grey-water from the homestay is recycled to be used for the garden. Most of what is grown is organic. They also have a cow. Pets are allowed and can be looked after outside the house but they cannot be taken inside the rooms.
There is ample space for sit-outs where guests can sit and have an open BBQ or realx in the open air jacuzzi. There are a couple of sunk-in gardens as well.
The rooms are tastefully done with Burma teak wood furniture and wooden flooring.

Breakfast is served between 08:00 to 09:00 am and a choice fruit, bread, butter, jam,fruit juice, eggs to order, tea/coffee is offered.
Lunch is served between 01:30 and 02:30 pm, both veg and non-veg meals are available. No onion/garlic meals can be prepared on request.
Hosts
The homestay is run by a Brigadier(retd.) and his wife. His wife is very passionate about cooking and also conducts cookery classes for guests. Each session lasts about 3-4 hours and is charged at Rs.300 per dish.
Activities
Treks are possible to the nearby Dhauladhar mountains. There is a temple circuit nearby within an hours radius.
