Cruising the backwaters in Alleppey is a magical experience along the sights of the under sea level agriculture.
The Houseboat
This is a wooden houseboat made in the old boat making techniques of Kerala.They are comfortable and spacious double beded rooms with two windows opening to the backwaters. There is an open sitting area on the front of the boat.
The Cruise
The cruise is for 21 hours beginning at 12 noon, we cruise till the evening and then halt on the backwaters for the night. The cruise resumes in the morning and we dock at 9 am.
Food & Activities
A team assists you to visit the old temples and churches on the way. You can also stop at a village and take a walk in the paddy fields. They serve traditional Kerala food and one can also buy fresh fish from the fishermen which we can cook for you.
Hot water is available on request.
