Built in 1840,it is maintained so well that you wouldn't agree with how old it is. The rooms are spacious,well lit and well maintained.The living and dining areas retain the old look of the place. Old guns,antlers and photographs adore the walls while the hosts would tell you about the times Jim Corbett would be seated at the very same fireplace enjoying his evening tea.

You can just sit on the porch and watch the rain for hours or read a book by the fireplace while it snows outside.You can also go to Gunny House- Corbett's former residence,which is nearby,when you wish to take a stroll in history.

Hosts
The lodge that now serves as a guesthouse is the erstwhile home of Siddharth Singh,who now runs the place with his wife Neha Wazir Singh. Neha is also a doctor by profession. In this wilderness an in-house doctor is an added advantage.
