Built in the early 1900's, this property in Ooty is a fully furnished colonial building with three bedrooms, each with its own fire place, a living and dining area and a well manicured garden, perfect for a bonfire or a barbecue.The entire bungalow is laid out with antique teak and rose wood furniture.

Food
There is a fully functional kitchen with an in house chef. Usage of the kitchen is charged for at Rs.100 per day and food can be paid for at actuals directly at the accommodation.

Location
The accommodation is located about 10 min away from Ooty station and is just off the main town.

A relaxing stay to spend some quiet time with the family while also not being far away from the town if you feel like stepping out every now and then.

The Bungalow was clean & beautiful and we surely enjoyed the experience. The place has a lot of character, a very pleasant caretaker whose wife is a great cook and ofcourse he adds his bit to the fantastic flavor. Great place if you are out with your family or a group of three families since there are three bedrooms in the bungalow, you would feel like the entire house belongs to you. The most memorable part is the fire place in each room that kept us warm and cozy on a cold and rainy, felt like we belonged to some colonial family. Overall a great experience.

This is the perfect place for a large family of 6-8 people when you take the entire Bungalow. Do not expect the most awesome view, it's like being in the heart of an increasingly commercialised Ooty. The caretaker Rajan and his wife can rustle up some very decent food, tends to be a little on the spicy side. Even better if you cook yourself. Has a well equipped, large kitchen. Needs a Microwave though which it lacks. Wish the exterior was better maintained - the lawns, hedges etc need attention. Could make a world of a difference if they did that. Overall expect a pleasant stay at great value.
