Hosts
The hosts Mr. and Mrs. Thakur came to Hampi in 1998 from Goa. They ran a restaurant in Goa and decided to start on in the under-served Hampi area. The restaurant did very well and that prompted them to buy some land a little away from the village in Hampi Island.
They now run this accommodation together which is still famous for its food.
Activities
Guests can play some light volleyball, go for a walk or a jog and of course there are the magnificent rocky hills to go climbing.
The hosts can put you on to a local tourist guide who can show you around Hampi. The approximate charges for the same are between Rs.400 (for 4 hours) to Rs. 800 (for the full day).
